British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised a "Marshall Plan" to restore Ukraine.

“There was also an agreement to show the people of Ukraine now that no matter what happens, when a free, sovereign, independent Ukraine is defended and restored, we will rebuild everything and we will have a Marshall Plan to restore Ukraine,” Johnson said.

Johnson assured that Britain was ready to accept "thousands" of Ukrainian refugees, noting that figures could run into the hundreds of thousands.

"People in this country are incredibly generous towards people fleeing persecution or war zones. Believe me, we are going to be very, very generous," he said.

Yet despite the generosity, Britain has no intention of introducing an easier visa regime for Ukrainians to enter.
