The war must be put an end to, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine stated in a video message, UNIAN reported.

"There is a need to sit at the negotiating table. Sincere, substantive negotiations in the interests of the people, not outdated murderous ambitions," he added.

Zelenskyy said he had spoken with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

"We [i.e., Ukraine] are opening a new page in relations with the Netherlands. Thanks for the support," he said.

In addition, Ukrainian president of spoke with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of Israel, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel of Luxembourg, and President Emmanuel Macron of France.

"We have support. We have understanding," Zelenskyy stressed.

Also, the President of Ukraine thanked the Russians who support the Ukrainians by taking to the streets and protesting.
