YEREVAN. – Acting President Alen Simonyan of Armenia on Wednesday received Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin.

Regional security was touched upon during the meeting, the office of the President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors highlighted and highly assessed the Armenian-Russian allied relations.

Also, they exchanged views on regional cooperation and the development of parliamentary relations.

The importance of political dialogue and negotiations in resolving conflicts was touched upon, too, during the meeting.
