STEPANAKERT. – The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan on Wednesday issued a statement alleging that units of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army had fired at Azerbaijani military positions, after which the Azerbaijani side had returned fire. This statement has nothing to do with reality, the Artsakh Defense Army noted in its own statement.

"Not only did the Artsakh Defense Army not open fire on the Azerbaijani positions, but also, as we have already mentioned earlier, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces fired in the direction of [Artsakh] village of Khramort on March 7 and 8, 2 and 3 times, respectively, from grenade launchers," added the statement by the Artsakh Defense Army.
