Kazakhstan's first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the margins of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
According to Nazarbayev's press service, he thanked Erdogan for the invitation to participate in the international forum, highlighting the importance of the event in the context of the ongoing global geopolitical changes.
In turn, Erdogan noted Nursultan Nazarbayev's significant contribution to the establishment and development of Kazakhstan-Turkey relations. The Turkish President also praised the work of Kazakhstan's first president in expanding and deepening the integration processes of the Turkic world.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the most topical issues of the international agenda, stressing the importance of ongoing efforts to resolve the military conflict in Ukraine through diplomacy and the restoration of interstate dialogue.
