Baku says it is ready to conclude a peace agreement with Yerevan if Armenia "demonstrates political will,  Azerbaijan Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov said.

"If Armenia shows political will, we are ready to close the page of the history of the conflict and conclude a peace agreement to normalize relations with Armenia," Khalafov said.

He said the top priority is "the restoration of communications, including the opening of the railway and road to Nakhijevan."  "We are ready to start the process of delimitation of borders with Armenia without any preconditions," he said, adding that "Armenia should be ready to take appropriate and principled steps in this direction."
