During their meeting in Moscow, the Presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, agreed to supply Belarus with the state-of-the-art weapons from Russia, said Natalya Eismont, a spokesperson for the Belarusian president.

According to her, the two leaders comprehensively discussed the situation in the world, the region, and in Ukraine.

"In this context, one of the main topics was the course of negotiations in Belarus, and the positions of the Russian and Ukrainian sides," Eismont said, BelTA reported.

Lukashenko returned from his visit to the Russian capital on Friday.

The talks between Putin and Lukashenko lasted about five hours in Moscow. The meeting was attended also by Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who represents the Russian side in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. At the same time, the two presidents unanimously agreed that if Kyiv wants, the conflict can be stopped at any time.
