The head of EU diplomacy believes that the introduction of a no-fly zone over Ukraine could be the beginning of a third world war.

Earlier, this opinion was repeatedly expressed in NATO, while Kyiv insists on this measure and has repeatedly called on Western countries to introduce it, Kommersant reports.

When someone asks for a no-fly zone, it implies the ability and willingness to shoot down Russian aircraft that violate it. This would mean the expansion of the conflict to the third world war, and it is obvious that we do not want to do this, Mr. Borrell told El Peridico.

He also nored that the European Union is providing all possible military assistance to Ukraine, avoiding a confrontation that could escalate into a nuclear confrontation.

Western countries have repeatedly stated that the establishment of an unmanned zone over Ukraine, which Kyiv constantly asks for, will mean a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO.
