Italian state radio said a crash on the A14 motorway near Forlì, a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of northeast Italy, left several people injured and one person dead, CBC reported.
The bus overturned onto a highway fence next to a farmer's field. Firefighters used two cranes to bring the bus upright.
The Italian interior ministry said the bus had left Ukraine and was heading south to Pescara, a port city on the Adriatic Sea. The passengers were taken to a nearby police barracks for first aid and will later resume their journey, the ministry said.
About 35,000 Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war in their homeland ended up in Italy, most of them through the northeastern border with Slovenia.
