As of today, the use of tobacco products and their substitutes in all public catering establishments is prohibited in Armenia.
In this regard, former Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, an MP of the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction at the National Assembly, wrote as follows, in particular, on Facebook: "(…) thus ranking Armenia among the civilized countries that make efforts to ensure a healthier environment."
