The Belarusian government has extended for three months the ban on the export of wheat and spelt flour, which was decided by the Council of Ministers.
According to the respective document, a temporary ban has been imposed also on the export of large ground grain, buckwheat, and their finished products.
The export of these products shall temporarily be banned both for the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries, including Armenia, and for outside the EEU customs territory—and regardless of the country of their origin.
But this ban does not apply to goods exported from Belarus to foreign countries for humanitarian aid based on government decisions, as well as for storage.
This prohibition shall not apply also to international transit shipments beginning and ending outside the customs territory of the EEU, and to goods included in the customs procedures of an EEU member country and are being transited through the territory of Belarus.
