The Kremlin did not agree with the statement by US State Department spokesman Jen Psaki that the United States “totally crushed” the Russian economy.
The statements about Russia's allegedly shattered economy do not reflect reality, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
“The Russian economy is in trouble. But any difficulties are at the same time opportunities for development, for renewal, for achieving greater independence, for setting up new industries, and so on. We have a good proverb – there is no evil without good. We are trying to use all the difficulties in our interests,” Peskov said.
