Our forecast for GDP growth has been reduced from the previous 5.3 percent to 1.6 percent, which is mainly due to the development of the industry. The governor of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), Martin Galstyan, stated this at Tuesday's press conference.
According to him, at the beginning of the year, the CBA had predicted that the country’s industry should grow by 1.6 percent in 2022, but with new developments, there are some problems in mining and manufacturing.
