For several days now, several of our colleagues (…) have been alerting about the Azerbaijani advance in the direction of Nerkin Hand village of Syunik Province. Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition "With Honor" Faction in the National Assembly of Armenia and a security expert, wrote this on Facebook Wednesday morning. He added as follows:
"It is about the passing of about a 1km section under Azerbaijani control. By the way, the local residents also have voiced about this—through the press.
The Ministry of Defense made a ‘clarification’ in this regard, but did not bring major justifications in terms of fact.
I am not even talking about the fact that the authorities have given—on various occasions—many false "explanations" that are lies, do not correspond to the obvious reality, which have reduced the public trust in their word and statement to zero.
It should be recorded that the lack of carrying out proper measures in the country's security system has led to Azerbaijan—continuing its aggressive policy—making new positional improvements—the invasion of May and November 2021 and the described intrusions, sadly, are outstanding examples.
These authorities have left the task of ensuring the safety of our citizens to the whim of fate—and the consequence will be the continued losses."
