The United States and its NATO allies will send several anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, CNN reports, citing a senior US official. These additional systems include Soviet-era mobile air defense systems CA-8, CA-10, CA-12 and CA-14.

These systems have a lower altitude range than the S-300 system requested by Ukraine. However, they have a longer range than the man-portable Stinger missiles previously delivered to Ukraine, giving them the ability to hit cruise missiles.

According to a senior US official, the systems have been received from NATO partner countries and are on the way. It is currently unclear how these systems will be returned to the supplier country.
