Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan on Friday chaired a meeting of Armenia’s Council for the Fight against Human Trafficking and Exploitation.

The deputy premier noted that Armenia has achieved considerable success in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the government.

Also, Matevosyan considered the efforts of international partners assisting Armenia as one of the guarantees of progress in the country in the fight against this phenomenon.

"Despite the progress made in the domain, the challenges facing Armenia direct us to make greater efforts and carry out more active activities in improving the positions," the deputy PM added.
