The Kremlin will not give harsh assessments of Joe Biden's new remarks about Vladimir Putin so as not to provoke the American president's aggressiveness, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, Interfax reported.

"We do hear and see statements that are actually already personal insults to President Putin," Peskov said, commenting on Biden's new statement toward the Russian president.

According to him, these statements are actually already being made on a daily basis by the US president. "Given such irritability of Mr. Biden, his fatigue, sometimes forgetfulness, fatigue that leads eventually to aggressive statements, we probably will not give any harsh assessments so as not to cause more aggression," Peskov said.

Earlier in March, Biden also made harsh remarks about Putin over Russia's actions in Ukraine. Peskov then called the American president's statements inexcusable.

"Such statements by Mr. Biden are absolutely inadmissible, unacceptable, inexcusable," the Kremlin representative said.
