YEREVAN. – Acting UN Resident Coordinator Lila Peters Yahya  was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MDA) of Armenia on Saturday, the ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, the Acting UN Resident Coordinator was informed that the MFA of Armenia strongly condemns the participation of the UN Office in Azerbaijan in Friday’s event in Shushi, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and a respective note of protest by MFA was submitted.

Also the MFA of Armenia demanded that the UN take steps to restore its neutral position in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
