The head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, accepted the resignation of the entire Cabinet of Ministers before the newly elected president of the country, Turkmenportal reported.

The head of state signed this resolution in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, as well as Article 7 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan" at the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony, reported the news program "Watan" of Turkmen television.

The document instructs the outgoing members of the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers to continue performing their duties until a new government is formed.
