Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and provided some details in an interview with Turkish Hurriyet editor Ahmet Hakan.

In his conversation with Ahmet Hakan, Cavusoglu noted that the sides came to an agreement on the 6 points put forward by Russia.

"There are agreements on the positions of both sides on important topics. However, some provisions must be approved by the leaders of the countries. If the sides do not retreat from their current positions, we can hope for a truce. If the sides come to an agreement, a meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin is possible," he noted.

Earlier, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin stated the points raised by the foreign minister.

According to him, it is about the following items:

1. Ukraine renounces membership in NATO and becomes neutral

2. Ukraine goes for disarmament and receives guarantees of mutual security

3. Ukraine renounces Nazism

4. Ukraine removes restrictions on the use of the Russian language

5. Status of Donbass

6. Status of Crimea.
