The member states of the European Union (EU) are currently developing the fifth package of sanctions on Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing diplomatic sources in the EU.
The sources said these restrictions may include “many new names.”
In addition, the sources said that the Baltic countries, including Lithuania, intend to impose an oil embargo against Russia.
The German authorities, on the other hand, are in no hurry to introduce new sanctions. They are concerned that at the moment Europe is already forced to deal with the high cost of fuel.
