YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The theory of "opening an era of peace with Azerbaijan," which is constantly touched upon by the current [Armenian] authorities, seems to be getting flesh and blood. According RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, there is nothing unacceptable in the 5 points submitted [by Azerbaijan] to Armenia in terms of normalization of relations.

Zhoghovurd daily had sent an official inquiry to the MFA to find out by what means those 5 proposal-points were transmitted to official Yerevan—whether directly or, for example, through the OSCE MG [(Minsk Group)] co-chairing countries. When did those proposals come? And to who exactly are they addressed? The RA Foreign Minister? The Prime Minister? Or the President? The ministry had responded to our inquiry: "The proposals of the Azerbaijani side have been transmitted to the Armenian side through diplomatic channels and are addressed to the RA authorities."

What diplomatic channel is it about when Armenia and Azerbaijan do not have any kind of contacts (…)?

The ministry also avoided giving a clear answer to the question of to whom Azerbaijan's proposal-points were addressed—apparently insuring putting anyone under the blow in the future.

It remains to find out what Ararat Mirzoyan means by saying "recognizing each other's territorial integrity." Which country will Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] remain part of?
