YEREVAN. – Yerevan police department received a call on Tuesday that an unknown Armenian citizen leaves weapons under the bridge.

Police arrived in the scene and found different types of weapons, police press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Another unknown Armenian citizen also called police the same day and said that leaves weapons in a certain address. Police found a gun and grenades in the scene.

Besides, Armenian citizens Abraham K., 54, and Markos H., 45, also handed large quantity of weapons in police departments in Yerevan and Vayk cities respectively. They stated they obtained the weapons during Karabakh war, and forgot about their existence all these time. All the weapons are sent for the expertise. Investigation is underway.
