The meeting of Turkey's National Security Council discussed the processes in the Caucasus within the framework of normalization of relations with Armenia.

The meeting was chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, APA reported.

“It was noted that Turkey's determination to protect border security and rights in the Eastern Mediterranean, its balanced position in the processes in the north of the Black Sea, and its persistence in ensuring and maintaining stability in the Balkans and the Caucasus once again demonstrate its contribution to global and regional peace,” the statement reads.
