YEREVAN. – Third President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday visited the Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Andranik Margaryan, the former Prime Minister and ex-chairman of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Sargsyan was accompanied by former Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, who is the son of Andranik Margaryan, as well as other RPA figures.

They paid tribute to this national statesman, and laid a wreath and placed flowers at his grave.

Andranik Margaryan had served as the Prime Minister of Armenia from 2000 to 2007.
