Hungary will not allow the transit of weapons to Ukraine through its territory and will not refuse Russian oil and gas, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto wrote on his Facebook page.

Yesterday at the EU summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy repeated two well-known demands: to allow arms transfers through Hungary and at the same time stop buying natural gas and oil from Russia.

Earlier, Szijjarto said: "the reason for making this decision is that such deliveries might become targets of hostile military action and ... we have to ensure the security of Hungary ... that we are not getting involved in that war."
