The Office of the Public Prosecutor of Nagorno Karabakh launched a criminal case over the invasion of Azerbaijani forces in the direction of Parukh village of Askeran.

"On March 24, about 4 p.m. a group of servicemen of the Azerbaijani armed forces illegally entered the territory of Parukh village of Askeran, which is within the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces, and seized it at gunpoint and seized the hill located nearby, thus violating the territorial integrity of the Republic of Artsakh.

Based on the fact, a criminal case on the grounds of the crime stipulated by article 313 (actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Artsakh was initiated at the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Artsakh and was sent to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Artsakh for preliminary investigation", the statement reads.
