During the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have so far destroyed 289 drones, 1,656 tanks and armored vehicles, 169 volley fire systems, 684 field artillery and grenade launchers, as well as 1,503 units of special military vehicles. The Russian defense ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, stated this at a press briefing on Sunday, Interfax-AVN reports.

He added that a Ukrainian depot of air defense missiles had been destroyed near the capital Kyiv—and with high-precision weapons.
