STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan visited the town of Askeran and held a consultation with the regional officials—and regarding the current situation in the aftermath of the recent aggression by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
The President assured that all efforts are being exerted to stabilize the situation and to withdraw—through the efforts of the Russian side—the adversary to its initial positions, reported the information department of the Artsakh President's Office.
Also, Harutyunyan visited the Khramort and Khnapat villages of the Askeran region, discussed the current situation with the local residents, and gave a number of instructions on future plans.
