The international rating agency Fitch has revoked the ratings of the Russian Federation.

This is due to the sanctions imposed on Russia by the European Union, according to a press release from the agency.

At the time of the recall, Russia’s long-term and short-term foreign and national currency issuer default ratings (IDRs) and priority unsecured debt ratings were at “C,” with the upper limit of the country’s rating at “B-.”
