When analyzing or evaluating the actions of the Azerbaijani army, it should be remembered that the "control package" of the army is in the hands of Turkey since August 2020. Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition "With Honor" Faction in the National Assembly of Armenia and a security expert, wrote this on Facebook Monday morning. He added as follows:

"From the main operations to the information provision is carried out from Turkey.

The contacts of the Azerbaijani leader, defense or foreign ministers are of no value if there is no RF [(Russian Federation)]-Turkey arrangement.

Turkey is one of the most interested parties in terms of creating hotbeds of tension in the South Caucasus with other hands and ‘eroding’ the RF.

The existing contradictions and aggravations should be viewed from this point of view."
