A new round of Russian-Ukrainian talks may take place on Tursday in Turkey, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Interfax reports.

According to him, delegations are leaving for Turkey today.

“We expect that this could theoretically happen tomorrow,” Peskov told reporters.

“So far, we cannot and will not talk about progress,” he added.

According to Peskov, "the face-to-face format makes it possible to conduct negotiations more concentrated, richer in terms of content." “But so far, unfortunately, we cannot state any significant achievements and breakthroughs,” he stressed.

According to him, one should not expect a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine after the talks in Istanbul.
