Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov has denied reports that the Russian peacekeeping contingent troops that are stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) have been sent to Ukraine.

Answering the respective question of APA news agency at a press conference, the Bocharnikov said that such information did not correspond to the reality.

"The [Russian] peacekeepers are in Karabakh and have not been sent to Ukraine," the Russian diplomat said.
