Uzbekistan and Turkey signed an “enhanced framework military agreement,” Podrobno.uz reports citing an official statement from the Turkish Defense Ministry.
The document was signed during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Uzbekistan.
During a joint press conference in Tashkent, Erdogan noted that agreements were concluded between Turkey and Uzbekistan in the field of the defense industry, in which the countries have great potential.
The Turkish President also noted that during a meeting with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, they agreed to develop relations in a wide range from transport to energy, healthcare to education and culture.
