YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: The “dawns” are not “peaceful” at the Ministry of Emergency Situations [(MES)] for several days now.

The thing is that within the framework of a criminal case being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee, the NSS [(National Security Service)] had entered the MES and taken more than 150 people to the committee for questioning.

To this day, the investigative body does not specify as to within the framework of what criminal case summoned the MES employees or the minister for questioning, but we have learned some noteworthy details from the course of the criminal case. In particular, the MES officials have engaged in corrupt deals in the process of appointing various people to positions, and the chain has reached all the way to MES minister Andranik Piloyan.

The investigating body conducted a search at minister Andranik Piloyan’s house where a heating boiler was found, which, according to the initial theory, was on the balance of the MES, but surprisingly ended up in the minister's house.
