A meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy may take place in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, TASS reported.
"I had talks with Mr. Zelenskyy yesterday, we will have talks with Mr. Putin at about 4 p.m. today. As a result of preliminary consultations, we can now meet with leaders at the highest level to take steps at the leadership level, especially regarding Crimea and Donbas. If we can hold a summit in Istanbul and they decide to turn a negative trend into a positive one, we will be very happy," the Turkish president said.
