make preferableYEREVAN. – Today, on the sixth anniversary of the April war, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan.
The PM visited Yerablur accompanied by a large number of security personnel, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from the scene.
During his stay at the military pantheon, security officers restricted access to Yerablur.
Also during Pashinyan's visit, a large number of police forces were brought to Yerablur.
The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter also was not allowed to approach the premier.
In the early morning hours of April 2, 2016, the Azerbaijani army had launched a large-scale offensive against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
According to the final data, 110 servicemen and volunteers were killed and 121 others were wounded on the Armenian side as a result of these hostilities.
As for the casualties of Azerbaijan, according to some reports, they were about 800 people.
As a result of the four days of intense fighting, the Azerbaijani army occupied 19 combat positions, or about 500 hectares.
