YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, a noteworthy situation has been created in the criminal case being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee regarding the arrested minister Andranik Piloyan of the MES [(Ministry of Emergency Situations)] and other MES officials.

The thing is that, in essence, the investigative body has made an offer to the bribe-givers who are included in the criminal case. In particular, it said: those who will testify and tell whom and under what circumstances they gave a bribe will be released on the basis of a signature not to leave the country, whereas those who will not tell and testify as to which MES official they gave a bribe will be arrested.

Many of the bribe-givers have told what went through their heads and are now free, whereas there are people who did not testify, have been arrested.
