Armenian Second President Robert Kocharyan's participation in the 5 April opposition rally will depend on his well-being.

Earlier Hraparak newspaper reported that Kocharyan was injured while skiing in Tsakhkadzor and suggested that Kocharyan may not participate in the rally because of his injury.

The Office of the Second President commented on the media publications on this topic. Office coordinator Bagrat Mikoyan told Sputnik Armenia that Robert Kocharyan was injured a week ago.

"There is nothing sensational, any person actively involved in sports gets injured from time to time. President Kocharyan is receiving intensive treatment at home. Participation in the rally will depend on his well-being," noted Mikoyan.

The rally is organized by "Armenia" and "I Have Honor" opposition blocs. The rally will be held on the eve of the visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Brussels.
