YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: We receive news from Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] that the situation [there] is getting complicated. On the one hand, the Russian peacekeepers have not yet managed to return the enemy to the initial positions; on the contrary, the enemy is slowly moving forward in different directions and occupying new positions. On the other hand, the people of Artsakh are growing in despair, they realize that the RA authorities have washed [their] hands of, even forgotten the place of Artsakh.

These declining moods intensify after every next speech by [Armenia’s PM] Nikol Pashinyan. After his speech at the last government session, the mood of emigration in Artsakh has increased, people have realized that Armenia is no longer the guarantor of their security, the prime minister of Armenia is going to control their destiny without asking their will.

And although the Artsakh authorities continue to wheedle Pashinyan, they realize that the interests of Artsakh and Armenia are diverging day by day. They realize that they are standing alone in facing difficult challenges—both on external front and the internal. And in order for Artsakh not to be finally emptied of Armenians, they have to change the priorities of governance and spending state funds.
