Speaker Alen Simonyan of the National Assembly of Armenia on Wednesday attended an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Armenia-Russia diplomatic relations.

Speaking about Armenian-Russian relations, Simonyan said that the two countries are preserving their age-old traditional friendship and are still developing their ties—not only in the political and economic domains, but also in culture and art.

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, for his part, noted that over the past 30 years there have been great and important positive changes in all spheres of Armenian-Russian friendly relations.
