The ambassador of the Netherlands, Nico Schermers, visited the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.

Receiving the envoy, the Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan lauded the relevant Dutch agencies’ proper handling of the investigative inquiries submitted by Armenia in separate important criminal cases.

Ambassador Schermers, in turn, noted that the Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia is ready to ensure effective communication between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries—and based on the respective priorities of the Armenian side.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects and opportunities for increasing legal mutual assistance and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fight against transnational crime.

Also, the parties agreed to intensify their contacts and establish stable and continuous structures for the exchange of information arising from this cooperation.
