This time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has made "corrections" to the statement issued by the President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel, after his meeting with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, in Brussels on Wednesday.

In the aforesaid statement, Michel had “stressed the need for the full and speedy resolution of all outstanding humanitarian issues, including the release of remaining detainees and comprehensively addressing the issue of missing persons.”

But the reference on the demand for the release of the detainees has mysteriously disappeared in the respective statement released by the Azerbaijani foreign ministry.

It is noteworthy, however, that this reference is kept in the statement posted on the website of the Azerbaijani MFA.
