The Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] issue—and the Transcaucasian issue, in general—always occupy a key place in our discussions of regional affairs. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this at the beginning of Friday’s extended meeting in Moscow with visiting Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

"There are three groups of agreements reached—in November 2020, in January  and November 2021—at the highest level on the Karabakh settlement. And we will continue to ensure the implementation of these agreements, including the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh—in strict accordance with its mandate," Lavrov said added.
