Operational control centers of the 911 emergency service of Armenia's Emergency Situations Ministry and Police received a call that an explosive device was installed on board the "Red Wings" plane that was making a landing of the Moscow-Yerevan flight, shamshyan.com reported.

Fire and rescue squads and bomb squad arrived at the scene. Employees of Zvartnots airport police department, as well as police sniffer dogs are also on site.

Bomb squads are going to inspect the area, passengers have been taken out after receiving their luggage, and the aircraft has been moved to a safe area for inspection.

The place is intensively patrolled by officers of the third battalion of the Yerevan Police Patrol Service Regiment. The police are investigating the caller's identity.

Today there were similar calls about explosive devices in three shopping centers in Yerevan, but no explosive devices were found in any of them. A call about a bomb in one of the houses on Komitas Avenue was also received.
