The signing of an agreement on economic cooperation between the governments of Armenia and Slovakia took place Friday at the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The document was signed by Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan and Slovakian Ambassador to Armenia Miroslav Hacek, informed the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The agreement envisages the development and diversification of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the economic sectors of mutual interest.

The document also envisions the establishment of an Armenia-Slovakia intergovernmental commission.

The signing of this document was preceded by a discussion between Minister Kerobyan and Ambassador Hacek on the prospects for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
