YEREVAN. - Armenian police registered 361 corruption offenses in first six months of 2011, which is 5.9 percent higher compared to the figure registered in relevant period of 2010, police informs. Overall, 59.8 percent of the cases were revealed by law enforcement agencies.
In addition, 17 people died in 904 road accidents occurred in first half of 2011 (compared to 816 accidents in first half of 2010 with 17 people dead) and 1316 people received bodily injuries (compared to 1106 in first half of 2010).
