More than 40 children in Brazil have been mistakenly vaccinated the Janssen drug, the new type anti-coronavirus inoculation which is intended for adults only, Portal G1 reported.

As a result, six of these children developed side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and high fever.

One of them was urgently hospitalized.

The prefecture of Afogados da Ingazeira—where these children are from—has temporarily suspended an employee who mixed up the Janssen vaccine vials with those of the Brazilian-approved Pfizer vaccines for children.
