The European Commission (EC) has included 21 Russian airlines, including Aeroflot, Russia, Pobeda and UTair, into its aviation security blacklist, the statement issued by the EC on Monday reads.
Blacklisted companies are prohibited from flying to airports in the European Union and over its territory. Brussels has already banned all this as part of its sanctions against Russia in connection with the war in Ukraine.
