A phone conversation was held Tuesday between Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Toivo Klaar, the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, the Azerbaijani media reported.
“The sides, as a continuation of the meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Brussels with the mediation and participation of the President of the Council of the European Union, exchanged views on the latest events in the region, taking steps to normalization of the relations between two countries, as well as work on preparing future peace treaty, organizing joint Border Commission, also humanitarian issues,” also reads the respective statement.
